The short version: this website keeps nothing. It has no database and no server that stores your details. If you send an enquiry, it reaches me as a WhatsApp message, and it then sits in my phone like any other message until you ask me to delete it.
What happens when you use the enquiry form
The form does not send anything by itself. When you press send, your browser opens WhatsApp with your details already written into a message to me. Nothing leaves your device until you send that message yourself, and you can edit or delete it first. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, write to andeeching@gmail.com instead.
What I end up holding
- Whatever you typed: your name, your phone number or email, and your message, including anything you told me about budget or timing.
- Your WhatsApp number and profile name, if you message me there.
I do not ask for, and have no way to collect, your NRIC, your income or your bank details through this website.
What I use it for
To reply to you, to send you what you asked for, and to follow up about the property you asked about. Nothing else. I do not sell your details, pass them to other agents, or add you to a bulk mailing list.
Who else sees it
- WhatsApp, which carries the message, as it does for every WhatsApp conversation you have.
- Huttons Asia and the developer, but only if you decide to view a unit or make a booking. At that point your details are needed for the transaction itself, and you will know it is happening.
- Anyone the law requires me to tell.
Calls and messages
I will call or message you about the enquiry you sent. Beyond that, I follow Singapore's Do Not Call rules: if your number is on the registry, I will not send you marketing messages unless you have told me I may. Ask me to stop at any time and I will, without asking why.
How long I keep it
Until you ask me to delete it. There is no fixed expiry: property decisions can take years, and an enquiry from last year is often still a live conversation. Message or email me and I will delete your details from my phone and my email, and tell you when it is done.
What you can ask me to do
Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act you can ask me what personal data I hold about you and how I have used it, ask me to correct anything that is wrong, and withdraw your consent to my using it. Ask by WhatsApp or email and I will handle it myself.
Cookies and measurement
This site uses Google Analytics, and nothing else. It tells me which pages were read, roughly which country or city the reader was in, and what kind of device they used. It does not tell me who you are, and I cannot connect it to your enquiry. There are no advertising pixels and no tracking from Meta or anyone else on this site.
If you would rather not be counted, most browsers can block these cookies, and Google publishes an opt-out add-on that turns Analytics off everywhere.
Who to ask
I look after personal data for this site myself. There is no department to go through.
